Are you tired of that same flirty barista? Worried your local caf just isn’t as Insta-worthy anymore? Is there an underground coffee scene going on without you?

Fear not, because we’re about to hook you up with a brand new coffee fling faster than Tinder on a red-wine-fuelled Friday night.

Candles, cruffins and matcha green tea lattes the size of your big head. There’s an irresistible blend of coffee and homewares brewing at Eillo.

Why… Yelo there brand new cafe (har har har—someone stop me!) This popular Trigg cafe has spread its wings to Rokeby Road in Subi town and they've brought their winning formula of fresh juices, honest food and quality coffee.

Solo + Co

Another win for Subi-siders and coeliacs alike with the opening of Solo + Co coffee, food, gluten-free bakery, homewares and more. Kudos to them for staying on trend with their donut muffin cross-breed—the duffin. Well done indeed.

West Leederville

Not a spelling mistake—it’s Pearth! The new organic kitchen and health cafe on Cambridge Street. Gluten-free, vegan, vegetarians and carnivores are in and processed food and refined sugars are out.

No, you silly goose, I’m not saying that Brika is new. What I’m saying, if you would give me a minute, is that they’re now slinging coffees from their takeaway window all week and serving delish breakfast (#Brikfast—LOL) on Saturday and Sunday.

Altruist Specialty Coffee Brewers

Mt Hawthorn

A morning coffee is not just a coffee at Altruist. It’s a way of life. A way of life that would go really well with one of their bagels or donuts. Check this darling little Mount Hawthorn local out stat.

Rise & Grind Espresso Bar

Rise & Grind, not just a slightly dirty-sounding name for a business—also a small local cafe that serves up super smooth Pound Coffee (not touching that one either). It’s fast becoming a local favourite.

Leake St Cafeteria

This is the much anticipated cafe of ex-Master Chef contestant Wade Drummond, aka “that crumpet guy.” Enter through Kakula’s Sister to Leake St Cafeteria for Allpress Espresso coffee, some not-your-average salads and sambos and, of course, some sell-your-soul-they’re-so-good home made crumpets.

Telegram Coffee

State Buildings, Perth CBD

Coffee lovers follow local barista Luke Arnold around town like 14-year-old girls follow Justin Beiber. And now he’s found his new home in the restored State Buildings at Telegram Coffee. Here you get served up a cup of joe from boutique roasters like Dukes and Loaded for under a fiver.

City Beach

Take advantage of million dollar views at Odyssea for the price of a Fiori coffee, starting from three fiddy. Three fiddy! And it’s right on the beach. Like, ON the beach. On. The. Beach.

Little Way

A gorgeous little coffee shop/restaurant/wine bar if there ever was one. Making its home in a heritage house on Broadway, Little Way is keeping it local, serving up Loaded Coffee—which is also roasted in Ned-town.

Little Olive Leaf Cafe

Coffee, homemade-style food and handmade gifts are the name of the game at Little Olive Leaf Café in Willagee. Head out to the lovely backyard to make the most of your coffee break.

Howdy Coffee

The new sheriff in Bayswater town is Howdy Coffee. Follow their rainbow road at That Space Artisan Market to good coffee times and Mary Street Bakery donuts. Hell to the yeah.

Koffie Winkel

With its uber cool industrial fitout, tasty eats and highly respectable coffees, Koffie Winkle is a welcome addition to hip and happenin’ Northbridge. This James Street cafe can make anything from a mean coffee and breakfast to all the furniture in their cafe. Clever things.

East Perth

New face in the crowd, DuoTone has a selection of coffees to please the most snobbiest of the snobby coffee snobs. Guatemalan Compartmento Alto anyone? I’m more of a Kenyan Nyeri gal myself. They even respect the ancient art of filter coffee. Choice.
