It’s Happening: Harry Potter And The Cursed Child Is Actually Coming To Australia

Do whatever you have to. Buy, beg, borrow, steal (don’t actually steal). Because Harry Potter & The Cursed Child is officially coming to Melbourne. Daniel Andrews himself (wearing a Gryffindor scarf, no less) dropped the bombshell a little while back. But those who don't live under a rock know that's not why we're excited this morning.

The real boss news lies in the announcement that tickets will go on sale for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at 9am (AEST) on Monday the 6th of August. In other words, start brainstorming how the hell you're going to get out of work and score these bad boys

Producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender said, ‘When we embarked on this journey, it was an objective to ensure we could get the production to Australia as soon as logistically possible. You can’t ever assume a new play is going to have a further life, but we knew that if Harry Potter and the Cursed Child did have a life beyond London and Broadway, that the next stop would be here.”

Damn straight.
