Bar De Halcyon
If you’re not fluent in Spanish, the cheese platter at Bar De Halcyon—or ‘Tabla De Quesos’—is a selection of their finest Spanish cheeses and nibbles. Definitely check out this place if you’re after something a little bit different.
Our humble pals at The Trustee smash out their cheese boards like there’s no tomorrow. Cheese options are constantly changing at this place but you’ll receive a three-cheese assortment, candied nuts, pear paste and endless amounts of lavosh bread.

All boards come with pear paste, pistachio crackers and a sourdough baguette. The guys here will even recommend a perfect wine to pair it with. YUMMMM.
The Flour Factory
The guys at The Flour Factory have the share plates down to a tee and we can’t fault their board of cheesy goodness. They don’t reveal anything on the menu so just ask your server what they’ve got in stock and leave it to the pros to decide for you!
For maximum happiness levels, grab the large cheese platter from Juanita’s…it will have you wondering why you have settled for ordinary cheese your whole life. This one is the package deal and comes with chorizo and olives too! Winning.
Bad Apples Bar
You know that when you read a cheese menu and it’s not in English then you’ve struck gold right? Well the humble ol’ Bad Apples Bar in Applecross have nailed the international cheese game. All confusing options come with quince paste, lavosh and dried fruit.
You’ll find the cheese platter at The Globe on the dessert menu but feel free to order it before your meal too. The three mysterious cheeses (they pick for you) are accompanied by carrot jam and lavosh bread. Delish!
