18 Epic Events Happening On The Sunshine Coast This March

Well, hellooooo autumn! 1 March marks the official departure of summer but it's no reason to cry into your acai smoothie, 'cause it also happens to be one of the most action-packed months of the year. Here's our pick of the best things to do on the Sunshine Coast this March.

Noosa Boathouse River Festival

If you want to say bye-bye to summer in style then head down to the Boathouse Lawn for the 6th Annual Noosa Boathouse River Festival. It will be an epic afternoon of live tunes by the beautiful Noosa River. BYO family, friends, kids, dogs, picnic blankets, lawn chairs and watch the sun set on our summer.

Wok On Street Food

We're getting another awesome foodie fest from the folks that brought us Eat St earlier in the year. This time the focus will be on Asian noms. Think five food trucks, five restaurants and live music serving up all your faves. Heck yassss!

International Women's Day Bootcamp

On International Women's Day what could be better than getting together and celebrating all things GIRLS?! And this year there's a bootcamp baby. There's no better way to mark this very special day than moving your body, feeling fabulous, and teaming up with some amazing like-minded ladies.

Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival

While you sleep in and dream about bacon and egg rolls on a Sunday morning, spare a thought for those who are swimming 1500m, cycling 40km, and pounding the pavement along Mooloolaba Esplanade for 10km as part of the fitness frenzy that is Mooloolaba Tri. Even better, join them or cheer from the sidelines ('cause let's face it, there's no way you're going to actually join them). There's also an ocean swim and a twilight run in the days leading up to the big kahuna, for those who prefer their sporting events shorter and sweatier sweeter.

Russell Morris Performs At The Imperial Hotel Eumundi

ARIA Hall of Fame inductee, #1 selling Platinum artist and Aussie icon Russell Morris is returning to The Brewery at The Imperial Hotel Eumundi. Come along and marvel at this smooth crooner and his incredible pipes.

Ocean Film Festival 

Join the team from World Animal Protection for an evening of all things ocean. Designed to mesmerise and enthral, the Ocean Film Festival World Tour showcases more than two hours of sublime footage taken above and below the water's surface. This carefully curated selection of short films document the beauty and power of the ocean, and celebrate the divers, surfers, swimmers and oceanographers who live for the sea's salt spray; who chase the crests of waves; and who marvel at the mysteries of the big blue.

Surfing Dog Championship

It's time to get your puppers paws wet! That's right it's the world's biggest Surfing Dogs Championships held at one of the world's best beaches. (Noosa naturally). There will also be a "Pups And SUPs" workshop if you and your pupper want to work on your abs. It's all part of the eight-day Noosa Festival of Surfing happening on the Coast.

Who doesn't love an old record? You're in luck cause over 20,000 are going on sale. We'd like to invite you to the first "Sunshine Coast Record Fair" for 2018. There will be over 40 tables of vinyl records for sale from as low as $1 each. We'll see you there!

San Cisco Tour 

San Cisco is kicking off 2018 with a stack of shows around the country and they're dusting off their regional touring shoes to do so. From Terrigal to Torquay to Tasmania and plenty more in between, the Fremantle four-piece are picking up where they left off with their end of 2017 tour for 'The Distance'.
