5 Epic Spots To Eat & Drink This Weekend

How it is almost the weekend again, we have no idea.

But instead of freaking out that someone’s hit the fast-forward button on your “life remote”, we’re gonna embrace it the best way we know how—with coffee, food, and you know, a little bit of booze.

Need a hand deciding where to plant your tush this weekend? We’ve rounded up five of our faves to add to your hit list.

Villain Espresso | Nambour

Guys, listen up. Like, seriously. This week Villain Espresso announced they are closing their doors—insert tears—so you only have a limited number of days to sip coffee and chill at this cool little retro nook in Nambour. It’s a crying shame, but not one that can be stopped, so make a plan to head to the Collectorama Fair and get your second-hand shopping on, then head here to reward yourself for your bartering skills and new-to-you finds.

Good Food Fellas | Caloundra

Yeah, yeah. So this may not be a restaurant or a cafe, but Good Food Fellas don’t need all that shebang to pump out deliciously-filling food all weekend long. Mixing it up at different locations across the Coast, they’ll be parking up at Shelly Beach this Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 1pm and 10am to 2pm respectively. Basically, if you haven’t had the good fortune of eating their nosh before, you should be lining up to try their fully loaded menu, stat. Choose between massive mounds of fries, meaty burgers, and fresh salads, then wash it all down with a sugar-free cold-pressed coffee. Perfect to break up those hours of beach-time.

Stoker Brewhouse | Maroochydore

You might know it as a coffee shop and that’s great, but did you know that Stoker turns into an epic hangout spot at night? There’s craft brews pouring and a cool crowd gathering, and if you steer your pushie here on a Saturday night, you’ll also get to listen to live tunes. Not bad, Stoker, not bad at all.

Noosa Waterfront Restaurant | Noosa

Got something special to celebrate this weekend or just want to surprise your lover with a romantic date by the water? Check out Noosa Waterfront Restaurant for a long lunch experience you won’t want to end. Nestled along the banks of Noosa River and tucked away from the main strip of shops, this foodie heaven specialises in delectable Italian cuisine. And the views, well, the views aren’t half bad either.

DownTown | Nambour

We will never tire of burgers. And we will never understand the people that do. Especially when they’re as good as those coming out of the kitchen at DownTown. Step outside your usual burger zone and order the Clucky Coconut—loaded with grilled free-range chicken coated in almonds and coconut (duh!) and finished with rocket, tomato, red onion, and cherry relish. Add a side of crinkle cut chips with cajun spice, and you’ll be walking out with a very, very big smile on your face.
