Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’d know that the short-form video app, Tik Tok has well and truly taken over the world. With over one billion users, it’s no wonder many of its user-generated videos have gone viral, with choreographed dance moves being one of the most popular videos to watch and share.
One of these hyped Tik Tok dances was none other than Arizona Zervas’ ‘Roxanne’, with tens of thousands of Tik Tok users dancing to a set of choreographed moves, each adding their own unique flair and dancing with anyone from their friends, sister and even mum. While the song was popular in its own right, Tik Tok and its users propelled the song into mass popularity with over 600 million streams worldwide, cementing a two-time platinum status.
As the first track by an unsigned, fully independent artist to top the chart since 2017, there’s no question as to why Arizona Zervas and his song 'Roxanne' has taken the world by storm. Not only that, the official music video has just dropped and it’s definitely one to watch. Paying homage to classic movies such as 'Pulp Fiction' and 'Groundhog Day' and set in the Californian Desert, you don’t want to be the only one who hasn’t watched it.
