Calling all the plant based, health conscious foodies out there, the time has finally arrived! We are getting our very own 100% vegan markets and we can barely contain our excitement.
This month, our hood will be home to the new monthly market based in Nambour. There will be over 30 market stalls featuring all kinds of vegan delights including food, drinks, beauty and lifestyle products and the best part is, it’s all cruelty free. Woot!
Expect a wide selection of delicious options from doughnuts (nom nom), ice-cream, pizza and curries, with wares ranging from nut mylks to pet treats. There’s literally something for everyone here, guys.
And don’t worry about bringing along your carnivorous friends, once they taste these treats they won’t be missing their animal products. It’s literally that good they won’t even know the difference. With a wide variety of goods on offer, from food to fashion and soaps to spices there is something surely to interest most, dietary requirements regardless.
The event is the brainchild of Sunshine Coast local Carly Church and Jonny Garrison, who introduced our southern relatives to the Brisbane Vegan Markets.
Vegan foodie fans will be sure to spot some familiar faces from the market circuit with favourites like I Should Coco Ice Cream, Green Street Foods, Fenn Foods and Donut Kitchen all ready to roll out their famous vegan treats on our shores.
And now every vegan can collectively rejoice! Plant based and cruelty free is about to arrive on the Sunshine Coast in the best way possible. 2018 keeps bringing us the goods.
