Love cronuts? Love Easter? Love those eggs, those Cadbury crème eggs? Well, you’re about to die and go to cronut heaven. Seriously. It’s a place, and you are going there!
This is kinda a public service announcement, because everybody should know about and have the chance to feast on a Cadbury Crème Egg Cronut injected with Nutella and caramel, at least once in their sweet-lovin’ life.
And after the super success of their Crème Egg doughnuts last year, one of our fave cafes, Sunshine Sunshine Espresso is bringing the cronut version to the mouths of Sunny Coast locals over the Easter long weekend. Only.
And then they’ll be gone. Just like that. Kaput. Like they never really existed, except you’ll know they did because you were smart and pre-ordered one for you and one for your bf… and another one for you, and the taste explosion and subsequent love hearts popping out of your eyes was something you’ll never really forget.
We’d hate for you to miss out on what may well be the best cronut OF YOUR LIFE, so make sure you hop down to this Curriumundi gem (on the other side of Nicklin Way) for your eat-in or takeaway cronut, Easter Friday through to Easter Monday. Yep, Sunshine Sunshine are open all of the public holidays, for all of your cronut needs.
While there will be a few instore for those how-did-I-forget-to-reserve peeps, they will be very limited. So to save crying into your espresso when you realise they’ve sold out, we whole-heartedly recommend pre-ordering ahead of time. Even if it’s just one lonely soldier, owners Bec and Aaron will set aside your crunchy yet gooey cronut, and deter that tantrum you totally would’ve had without it. Admit it.
We’re not kidding when we say, Easter won’t be Easter without one of these babies. And if you need to justify it to your gut/PT/Weight Watchers lifeline; it is only Crème Egg season once a year. And if they don’t buy that, well, then it’s the perfect Easter gift for the person who has everything. Yeah, that’ll definitely work.
Launch like a leopard and get messaging, emailing, or calling the folks at Sunshine Sunshine Espresso, so you can get your hands on this epic mound of #foodporn while it lasts. You have been warned, friends.
