Round up your mates and jump on the Bruce Highway, because the IKEA Festival of Sleep is popping up for the first time ever and it starts this week.
Held from Thursday 26 September to Monday 7 October, at both North Lakes and Logan locations, this event will showcase solutions to Australia’s most common sleep problems. And as much as we pushed for an in-store sleep over—how fun—we’re happy to settle for a program packed with awesome sleep and wellness filled events.
Over 12 restful days, guests can take part in a range of tailored workshops, from ‘how to style your bedroom’ to the ‘best ways to wake up fresh with yoga and breakfast’. Plus, you’ll find mindfulness sessions to help you switch off at night, hosted by the team at Stretch Yoga, and talks from the experts at The Baby Sleep Company for new parents who have a bub that thinks sleeping is a joke. There will even be one-on-one consultations with IKEA interior design experts, which we’re totally signing up to because have you seen their displays?
If you’re in the midst of school holiday madness and are looking for family-friendly events, you’ll be pleased to know IKEA hasn’t left you out. There is a free kid’s movie night complete with our favourite IKEA noms happening, meaning mum and dad can unwind and maybe even catch up on some much-needed Zs.
