Rug Up, You Can Dine In A Magical Pop-Up Igloo At This Sunshine Coast Pub

A pop-up plastic igloo with seating inside, sits at a Queensland pub.

Why do we need igloos in a region without ice? It’s a mystery. But are they cool? Hell yes they are; and in these times of social distancing, dining in a private igloo sounds more appealing than ever, which is why we're pretty stoked that a Sunshine Coast pub has launched them in preparation for winter drinking and dining.

That's right, now you can embrace the chill of winter inside your very own private igloo, underneath twinkling fairy lights at Chancellors Tavern in Sippy Downs. Cosy up with 2–6 people and feast on a three-course meal, with a house beverage for just $39 per person.

Bookings are available for two-hour sessions, but you're going to want to get in quick because spaces will fill up fast and they will only be sticking around until August.

So, what are you waiting for? Break out the winter woollies and tee up your very own igloo for a night. You can find more information here
