Maroochydore’s brekky game just got slayed thanks to a new all day brunch and cake joint, Flinders Lane. We know the promise of brunch and cake is almost too good to be true, but the fabulous Flinders Lane has arrived to answer all our foodie prayers.
Only recently opening their doors this November, Flinders Lane is set to bring you the best coffee the Sunshine Coast has to offer.
So whether you’re after some hangover-curing bacon and eggs, some tea and cake with the girls, or just passing by to grab a coffee on your way to work, Flinders Lane will be your new go-to for all things delicious.
Sitting on Flinders Lane in Sunshine Cove, Maroochydore, this stunning cafe is eye-catching even from the street; with its crisp black and white minimalist storefront, light timber seating and the smell of freshly roasted coffee wafting through the front door, there's no way you're passing it up.
Inside, you’ll find both a mix of both minimalistic and modern features, with wicker chairs, timber furniture, white walls and exposed grey brickwork. But the real eye catcher is the cabinet full of sweet treats which are baked in house every day. Think decadent brownies, dark chocolate cake adorned with petals and gold shavings, slices served with praline and mascarpone, a delicious array of muffins, and even a range of dietary-requirement friendly treats like gluten free chocolate cakes.
If you’re after something more substantial you won’t be able to go past the all day brunch menu. From maple and coconut sugar granola to the ground wagyu cheese burger with bacon and shoestring fries, there’s truly something for every kind of bruncher. Vegetarians won’t miss out either, with a range of delicious options like toasted sourdough topped with plum and heirloom tomatoes, Meredith goat’s curd and fresh basil. Pair any menu option with a freshly brewed coffee, herbal tea or cold pressed juice, and you have yourself a mind blowing brunch.
Not only does Flinders Lane serve up some truly amazing coffee and delicious eats, but it also has an unbeatable coastal atmosphere. The staff are super helpful and friendly, offering incredible service only adding to the laidback vibe of the cafe. It’s the perfect place for a lazy long Saturday brunch. The minimalist and clean space also makes it a great study spot, so you can keep the coffees coming while you get ready to ace that exam or your next big meeting. Oh, and be sure to reward yourself with some cake afterwards.
Flinders Lane is definitely going to be our new go-to brunch spot. Be sure to check it out ASAP and see what all the fuss is about. You won’t be disappointed.
