Picture this: you’re lazing in the French Riviera by a gorgeous pool in your very own private cabana. Then, a butler appears to pour champagne and serve you super-fresh oysters. And you don’t have to move an inch. Sounds like bliss, huh?
Well, for those of you who can’t splash out on that expensive plane ticket or who’ve used up all their annual leave on your latest dash to Mexico, we’ve got some pretty epic news.
You can now get the same totally luxurious experience without leaving the Sunshine Coast. Yep, Noosa just got its very own European-inspired poolside cabanas, complete with a butler service and they look freakin’ amazing.
A Sunshine Coast first, Sofitel Noosa Pacific are the folks bringing ‘cabana culture’ our way and they’ve thought of everything. And we mean, eeeeeeeverything! Overlooking Hastings Street and the resort pool, the cabanas can host up to four guests and are totally five-star. They’ll cost you a pretty penny to book but a day in one of these all-white sun shelters will include personalised butler services, fresh fruit platter (when in QLD!) a selection of French still and sparkling water, plus a personal iPad to browse menus and a hand-picked selection of mags. Seriously, what more could you want?
Currently only available to rent for guests staying at the Sofitel, prices start from $125 for a half day and $175 for a full day. We’re thinking a cabana would be the perfect addition for that special staycation you have coming up—anniversary, babymoon or birthday.
And locals, if you can’t fathom forking out the cash to stay so close to home, there’s whispers these babies may open up to the public closer to the end of the year. And if that happens, we’ll be the first to let you know!
