Clear your weekends for the next month, because an incredible virtual tour series has just launched on the Sunshine Coast and you don’t want to miss it.

Meet The Maker At Home is a brand new interactive experience, created for you to take part in from home and brought to us by the clever team behind local business Creative Tours and Events (they do those awesome Sunshine Coast brewery tours you’ve always wanted to try).

Kicking off this weekend, the series will roll out five epic at-home sessions throughout April and May, which involve local produce, coffee, cheese or booze being delivered to your door in the lead-up to the online event, then an exclusive Zoom session, featuring some of the best Sunshine Coast producers, farmers, chefs and cocktail connoisseurs.

While bookings for the first Meet The Maker At Home session, Brouhaha Beer & Bites—a food and beer pairing session—have now closed, you can jump in and snag your spot to next week’s class. Keep reading, it’s a goodie.

The second Meet The Maker At Home sesh is a gin masterclass with Noosa Heads Distillery (Fortune) where a delivery of local Noosa gin, mixers and ingredients will land on your doorstep. You’ll then tune in to an interactive cocktail-making session with the distillery team on Friday 1 May, and using the ingredients you received, will learn to mix the ultimate happy hour cocktail at home. We’ll cheers to that!

Gin and beer not your jam? With a coffee and chocolate session, a farm to fork feast with a local chef and a cheese workshop coming up, there’s bound to be something you’ll want to tune in to. So, stay up to date with event details as they’re released, over on Creative Tours and Events Facebook page.

And gin-lovers, if the gin masterclass is piquing your interest, the cut-off time to grab your spot is Wednesday 29 April to allow time for delivery.
