Smoothies: the ultimate go-to for the health nut looking to fill up and replenish, without ditching the diet.
The Sunshine Coast is jam-packed with health-focused cafes, all spilling at the brim with smoothies dedicated to everything from organic kale to peanut butter. Plan your next post-workout treat around our picks of where you can find the best smoothies on the Sunshine Coast.
The Sunflower Hotel
Organic or vegan smoothies are a dime a dozen these days, but for the particularly fussy sipper it can be tricky to tick both boxes at the same time. The Sunflower Hotel smoothie bar is a hole in one! This cute pop-up smoothie stall splits its time between the Kawana Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, and Noosa Farmers Market on Sunday. So, if you’re feeling the effects of last night’s Singapore Sling, head to the markets to get your Vitamin D and rejuvenation liquid all in the same spot. Topped with fresh mint, it’s hard to go past the creamy Mother Earth, but if you do the Wandering Gypsy with raspberries, banana, coconut oil, maca, mesquite, lucuma, and raw vegan vanilla protein is a delicious alternative. Definitely some of the best smoothies on the Sunshine Coast!

Count yourself as a health feign? Then you know all about the awesomeness that is CK Wholefoods. Easily one of the best cafes in Mooloolaba, this healthy food joint is one of those places you just want to show off to your out-of-town visitors. With a menu that’s bursting with flavour, we’re suckers for the Banana Espresso super smoothie. Made with fresh house-made almond milk, espresso, honey, and frozen banana, it’s freakin’ life-changing.
Where: 17 Brisbane Road, Mooloolaba
Hailed as one of Caloundra’s best (and only) vegetarian-friendly haunts, Greenhouse hits the apple on the stem when it comes to an ethical, Fairtrade, local, and organic menu. Conveniently located in the heart of town, Greenhouse’s timber tables, spacious layout and tranquil vibes, make for an awesome place to lunch with pals–over a Maquiberry smoothie of course. The Maquiberry is a house favourite featuring mixed berries, Maqui powder, gojis, banana, yoghurt and Barambah milk. There’s literally nothing to feel guilty about!
Where: 5/8 Ormuz Avenue, Caloundra
Chances are you’ve probably dropped into this café and struggled to make a decision about which way you’re going to go—superfood or superjunk? We reckon Decisions’ smoothies are the perfect way to saddle between the two, especially when they’re as naughty and nice as a Peanut Butter Jelly—mixed berries, organic peanut butter, dates blended on almond milk. So delish!
Where: 10 Capital Place, Birtinya
Coco Loco Club
If, like us, you choose your smoothie like you do your horses on race day, AKA by name, then realistically it’d be hard to overlook Halle Berry; a whizzed-up smoothie made up of all dem berries, banana, apple juice, coconut water, and natural yoghurt. Moffs really got lucky the day Coco Loco Club decided to call it home.
Where: 3 Roderick Street, Moffat Beach
Raw Energy is like the McDonald’s of healthy food. Look to your nearest beach, and we guarantee there’ll be one tucked no further than two streets away. This Sunny Coast wellbeing franchise is a smoothie enthusiasts delight—the menu is practically dripping in fruit-filled, nutrient-rich choices. With shopfronts in Coolum, Cotton Tree, Peregian Beach, Noosaville, and Mooloolaba, we’re not joking when we say that Raw offers some of the best smoothies on the Sunshine Coast. Don’t know where to start? Go with the Brekkie On The Fly—acai, muesli, banana, strawberry, L.S.A., yogurt, maca, milk, and honey. Ohhh baby!

Blended Health Bar
Somewhere between clean eating, and the DIY frozen yoghurt and candy craze, is Blended—a health bar smack-bang in the middle of Noosa’s Hastings Street. With a range of flavours (and dairy-free options) on offer, this is where the adults head for something a wee bit sugary. If you’re cruising around Noosa catching some rays, it seems wrong not to pick the Caribbean; a slurpalicious dairy-free blend of passionfruit, coconut, pineapple juice, mango, and sorbet. It’s pretty much summer in a drink, and is just one of the reasons we think these guys mix up some of the best smoothies on the Sunshine Coast.
Where: Shop 4, 18 Hastings Street, Noosa Heads
B-Fresh Cafe Deli
The important thing to remember when smoothie hunting at B-Fresh is to order your smoothie first, then sip while you shop! From the exterior, B-Fresh appears to be more like an old-fashioned fruit and veggie barn, than a place that sells some of the Sunshine Coast’s best smoothies. Once inside, you won’t know where to look first, but we highly recommend at the menu. B-Fresh is the epitome of handmade health and all smoothies are made with love, care, and house-extracted almond milk. It doesn’t get much fresher than that!
