Blessed day, the release date for season three of the award-winning Handmaid's Tale is here and there goes 2019.
The new season of the dystopian drama will contain 13-episodes with episodes being accelerated from the US to SBS On Demand and set to land on Thursday 6 June AEST. You'll want to mark that one down in the diary.
A recent teaser for the much-anticipated third season previewed at the Super Bowl in a commercial break and it broke one big message:
Wake up America.
The sneak peek was a nod in the direction of Ronald Reagan’s 1984 election commercial — Morning In America (one of the most prolific political campaigns of that era). A voiceover dictates a futuristic world where more women are at work than ever before and “dozens” of children are yet to be born. Check it out below:
If you're a sucker for The Handmaid's, good news, its sequel now has a release date.
