Let’s face it, now is as good a time as ever to get in touch with your creative side.

And while, yes, attending an art class to hone your skills is officially off the cards for the next little while, that doesn’t mean your artistic bent need be limited to the contents of your pantry. Not at all.

Here to save the day is The Pottery Studio. The Nambour pottery studio has come up with a way to help you master the art of ceramics in isolation, with their new Clay With Us packs.

Basically, The Pottery Studio will hand over a bundle of clay (choose between BRT or White Raku) and plenty of good vibes—ready for you to get dirty and release the creativity. Then, tune into their brand new online ceramic tutorials on IGTV and YouTube, and arm yourself with all the knowledge you’ll need to make something worth sitting pretty on a shelf in your home. When you’re done, you can drop off your creations to The Pottery Studio, who’ll fire it without a handshake in sight.

The Clay With Us packs come in three different sizes, offering clay blocks big enough for two to three people, five to six people, or 10 to 12 people ($8-$22), and can be picked up from The Pottery Studio on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2pm to 6pm.

If you’d rather get behind the wheel, The Pottery Studio are now officially hiring out their pottery wheels for you to bring home. The only catch is, you need to have completed a beginner class in the past, seeing as they won’t be able to give you a hands-on lesson for this one. To find out more about wheel hire, flick them a message here

And for the rest of us novices, we’ll be claying along with you at home.
