The best damn BBQ the Coast’s ever seen is just around the corner, and the boys have given us the exclusive lowdown on what to expect and when it’s happening!
Hosted by our friends at Black Bunny Kitchen, Bibfest AKA the meatiest festival around, is into its third year and we’ve got a hunch it’s going to be the best one yet.
The date’s been set for April 27, which means you’ve got just under a month to plan how you’re going to demolish a smorgasbord of smoky meats and still manage to walk (or roll) out at the end of the night.
Renowned across the Coast for their epic BBQs (remember when they smoked hams for us all over Xmas?), Black Bunny Kitchen will be whacking a whole hog, whole goat, whole lamb, and beef ribs on the racks. Drooling yet?
For $65, you’ll get a table-breaking platter, loaded up with all of the meats, plus delish Texas fixings like cornbread, Texas slaw, and beans. It’s going to be thirsty work, so there’s also three drinks included to wash it all down—and while there’s wine and soft drinks also on offer, we all know the only real contender is tap beer.
Tickets go on sale next Friday and with less than 200 seats up for grabs, it’s bound to be a sellout. So, if you’re wanting to turn your food dreams into a reality, lock in those phone reminders, stat!
Then, prepare to get your hands dirty cos it ain’t called Bibfest for nothing!
