UberEATS

Guys, it’s official. UberEATS is now on the Sunshine Coast! That’s right, peeps! We were sitting tight for a September launch but as the food gods would have it, Uber has lifted the veil of secrecy a little early and sent through word this morning that today is THE day. Eeeep!

So, how does it work exactly? It’s pretty simple, really. Download app. Choose food. Continue slothing until food is delivered. The driver or pushie rider will even bring the food right to your door. Awesome, huh? You can choose food off the instant delivery menu and be eating in as little as 25 minutes.

Around 30 local cafes and restaurants have already signed up, including favourites like Hello Harry, The Good Bar, Cafe Nurcha, Tome, Glass, Sneaky Baron, Junk, #phresh, Elixiba, Dirty Moes…we could go on; and these offerings will only grow as more venues jump on the bandwagon.

We must point out though, anyone north of Maroochydore or south of Kawana will have to wait a little longer before they can order to their door. Pre-launch recruitment has been focused on the central Sunshine Coast region, so anyone living or working around Maroochydore, Alexandra Headland, Mooloolaba, Kawana, and all areas in between can download the UberEATS app today and start ordering.

Delivery on your first four orders is free until the Saturday 23 September, simply use the promo code UESUNSHINE

It really is a great time to be alive, isn’t it?
