Burger powerhouse Ze Pickle, famed for dishing up jam-packed buns in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, has finally sprung up on the Sunshine Coast and you haven’t seen anything like it.
Slinging burgers like the pros they are, the new restaurant can be found along Noosa Junction’s main drag, in the old KFC building. With a transformation of epic proportions taking place in just eight short weeks, let’s just say the Colonel would be proud.
The all-black exterior is sleek and does a fine job of solidifying this place as somewhere cool you’ll totally want to hangout. With a sprawling deck and massive kerbside tables lit by strings of festoon lights, we imagine this as the perfect joint to rock up spontaneously with a crew.
Inside, the fit-out is sleek, moody and urban, and features a whole lot of sexy curves—trust us, you won’t recognise this place since your last Zinger run.
With concrete floors, red brick pillars, walls of steel tiles, custom-made furniture and lighting, and to-die-for leather bench seats, if we were to rate this place on the vibe alone, we’d be dishing up a big, fat 10.
For those who haven’t had the pleasure of dining on one of Ze Pickle’s monster feeds, you’re in for a treat. Famed for their huge burgers and soul-destroying food challenges, it’s safe to say Ze Pickle will be carving a patty-shaped hole in your heart that is likely to require regular attention.
Just a quick glance of the menu and pretty much everything from the bacon laced waffle bun to Kanye’s fried cheeze sticks will jump out at you. Plus, there’s an extensive beer list, with the best craft beers, both locally and abroad, taking centre stage, so you know you’re not going to be moving from that seat for a while.
The fifth Ze Pickle to open in Australia and now the biggest at over 200 square metres, we’re damn excited to have a patty-shaped hole carved in our hearts from this day on. Opening from 11am on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and from 5pm Monday to Thursday, drop in and meet the new burger gods.
Oh and while we did promise to spill a secret that involves the new Ze Pickle, the team aren’t quite ready for the big reveal. The wait will be worth it though, promise, and we’ll let you know as soon as we get the green light.
Until then, go forth and get burgerfied.
