Forget Adelaide’s Lamington Burger, Sydney Now Has A Phat Fairy Bread Stack

It’s been a whirlwind of a day on social media to say the least. If you haven’t seen the confusing concept of Adelaide’s crazy lamington burger yet, we’ll let you decide if that’s lucky or not.

And if it’s left you thinking “what the hell Sydney, where can I find a similar Aussie-Day-themed beauty just like this?” —we hear you. Sydney, meet the Fairy Bread Burger.

We agree, it’s a lot to take in at first,  but if we’re completely honest, the drool-worthiness is very real. Created by the burger juggernauts at Penrith’s Downtown Brooklyn burger joint, this big boy is not for the faint-hearted (even in spite of its sprinkling of fairy dust).

Stuffed with two juicy pieces of wagyu, two slivers of sweet, sweet maple bacon and two slabs of melted American cheese inside buttered fairy bread-style doughnuts, you’ll no doubt need to call an ambulance after conquering this delicious monstrosity.

If you’re keen to force yourself into a mildly worrying comatose state, you can grab the “Fairy Bread Burger” from Downtown Brooklyn every day until Monday 27 January. And may the odds be ever in your favour.

And here's where you can score $6 Espresso Martinis this week.
