It’s been almost a year since the music world was rocked by the news of Tim Bergling’s death. The Swedish DJ and record producer, more widely known as Avicii, who tirelessly worked his way up to be one of the most prolific EDM creators in the world, died last April at the age of 28.
Now, there is word that his close team of songwriters and music producers (and his record label Universal Music in the Nordic Region) have worked to finalise the late DJ’s unfinished album, TIM, a project he had been working on with around 16 songs before his death.
We’re likely to get ear of a track called SOS this week (maybe even in the coming hours) but the full album is locked for a June 6 release.
A portion of the sales from the album will be donated to The Tim Bergling Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation created by Bergling’s family to raise money for suicide prevention and mental health awareness.
And watch history being made in the trailer for Beyonce's new Netflix documentary.
