Where To Celebrate The Superbowl In Sydney

By Anna May - 30 Jan 2015

As all NFL fans will tell you, the Superbowl is the time of the year your inner Patriot (see what we did there?) will come out, and you’ll spend the day in a frenzy of buffalo wings, beer, and boisterous cheering—game on!

Here’s a selection of places to watch the Superbowl in Sydney.

Vic On The Park

Marrickville
The day kicks off at 10am at Vic On The Park, complete with American-style BBQ and $6 American Pale Ale.

The Hayberry

Crows Nest
For those looking for a great Superbowl celebration in the North, newcomer The Hayberry is making a great first impression, serving $1 wings, $10 cheeseburgers an $5 Young Henry pints alongside the game from 10am.

Forresters

Surry Hills
Your favourite Surry Hills haunt was born ready for this day. Head down from 10am for $4 coors and a selection of Yankee snacks – we hear there will be breakfast nachos.

24/7 Sports Bar, The Star

Pyrmont
The venue is open 24 hours (score) and the Superbowl celebrations kick off at 8am. There will be 5 giant screens, plenty of food and drink specials and a cheerleader or two.

Bridge St Garage

CBD
This is one of our favourite places to get a good American feed in Sydney, and Superbowl day will show you just what these guys can do in the form of a Superbowl stadium menu. $45 will get you a good seat and four courses.

The Norfolk

Redfern
$4 Coors, $6 breaky burgers and *pauses for effect* $10 1kg hot wings are on the menu while you watch the game (and ads) at The Norfolk from 10am.

Bondi Bowling Club

Bondi
The newest attraction for hipsters and chillers alike will open its doors at 10am on Superbowl day, serving a hearty American breakfast and plenty of snacks alongside a special cocktail with Monkey Shoulder whiskey.

Bristol Arms

CBD
Perfect for nipping in if your office isn’t so supportive of an all-day session. Get to the Bristol Arms for kick-off at 10:30 and consider chucking a sickie if the game gets intense.

Fortune of War

The Rocks
These guys are opening the doors at 9am for the pre-game coverage. Get excited!

The Harlequin

Pyrmont
Plenty of food and beverage specials are on offer at this Pyrmont pub – give them a buzz to secure your booking.

Durty Nelly

Paddington
Budweiser, hot dogs, burgers and banter will be in full swing on Superbowl day at Durty Nelly

The Verandah

CBD
Doors open at 8:30am and excitement awaits inside. $20 miller buckets, a dedicated Superbowl lounge and American-inspired snack specials are aplenty.

The Stuffed Beaver

Bondi
Call now to book your spot for what promises to be an unforgettable day. Even if you’re not into the football, these guys are putting on a wing eating competition, so…
