The Sydney singer, songwriter, producer and techno DJ (run out of breath yet?) who has been kicking absolute goals overseas, is bringing her biggest tour ever this November.
Venues coming at ya. Australia’s Queen of EDM is set to dominate The Tivoli in Brisbane, Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide, Forum Theatre in Melbourne and Enmore Theatre in Sydney.
Awake has been in the making for three years, but the wait was totally worth it. Critics were pretty unanimous. The music is emotional and inspiring, showing that EDM musos can, in fact, have a heart and soul.
The album was born out of Wonderland’s journey through depression and anxiety. The singer found solace in mixing again, revisiting dark memories and capturing moments of empowerment. Do your ears a favour and have a listen if you haven’t already. With mixes for some of our fav superstars, including Dua Lipa, Duke Dumont, Biebs and Lido in her back pocket, she dropped the album to general acclaim.
It’s also worth noting Wonderland’s mammoth performance in the Sahara Tent on the opening night of Coachella this year claimed her the title of Highest Billed Female DJ in the festival’s history. Her set at Coachella, combined with the billions before it, cemented her as a rising force on the world stage, and a musical genius (in our totally unbiased Aussie eyes).
