Whether it’s building a model village to improve factory workers’ living conditions, or designing the milkiest chocolate bar on the market, Cadbury has always been dedicated to the widespread distribution of happiness.
Since their beginnings in Birmingham in 1824, the company has gone global, forming the bedrock of Australian confectionary appreciation after breaking into the local market in 1853 with three cases of chocolate in Adelaide. They’ve even held a Royal Warrant to supply chocolate to the royal family since 1955, which is as good as having the Queen as an official spokesperson.
Their latest move sees the Cadbury truck load up with tasty wares and trundle all over Australia these school holidays. This delivery scheme is all part of Cadbury’s ‘Share the Taste’ campaign which seeks to continue their time-honoured tradition of delivering ecstasy to the masses in the form of Dairy Milk blocks.
This little joy wagon will be setting off on its Regional Tour from 30 June to 29 July, stopping off at a bunch of locations all over Australia including areas north and south of Brisbane. Stay abreast of where the truck is parking via the events calendar, but if you're in and around the Brissy area on the 1,2 and 7 July, well, let's just say you'll be getting your hands on some free choc!
