If we’ve told you once, we’ve told you a thousand times, guys… You absolutely must get some pork on your fork. If you’ve been lagging behind with your monthly pork consumption, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We’ve done the hard yards and found the places serving up Brisbane’s best pulled-pork errythang.

Miss Kay’s

Brisbane CBD

If you want to get your pork in Brisbane City visit newly opened burger bar, Miss Kay’s, on George Street. Among the tasty treats on Miss Kay’s divine menu is the appropriately named, Porky Pig: Slow cooked pulled pork, house slaw and pickles with sweet BBQ sauce and mayo. Bonus points if you finish it off with Miss Kay’s Ice Cream Sandwich. Food coma at your work desk in T-minus 10 minutes.

The Bone Lorry

Brisbane food truck, The Bone Lorry is driving a big ol’ truck of tasty around our streets, specialising in delicious meat on the bone. This includes, of course, one heck of a Triple Pig Bun: perfectly cooked pork shoulder, chorizo AND bacon topped with apple and fennel slaw, smoked garlic aioli and apple ketchup.

The Burrow

West End

Okay, so we all know pulled pork is delicious, but what about pulled pork on pizza? Yes, please. The Burrow in West End are one step ahead, creating the Big Voodoo Daddy pizza. Pulled pork and Cajun sausage with red onions, mozzarella and bourbon BBQ glaze on a tomato base, finished with delicious fresh slaw.

The Smoke BBQ

New Farm

Fancy an entire plate of pulled pork? Yeah, I thought you might. Make a visit to The Smoke BBQ in New Farm and get cosy with their pulled pork plate: a generous helping of North Carolina pulled pork served with fries and coleslaw, which you can substitute for mac & cheese! They also serve this porky goodness in sandwich form at lunch.

Chur Burger

Fortitude Valley

Just when you thought your tastebuds couldn’t handle anymore pork goodness, the team at Chur Burger devise an incredible pulled pork burger. We’re talking delectable pulled pork topped with their homemade BBQ sauce, red slaw, and fennel with mayo. Wash it all down with a salted caramel milkshake and chilli salted chips. Heaven is a pork burger.

Getta Burger

Bridgeman Downs & Carina

What’s better than one pulled pork burger? Two pulled pork burgers! Which is exactly what’s on offer at Getta Burger. The ‘Getta Pig Out’ burger is stuffed with pulled pork and crispy bacon plus double cheese, signature ‘That BBQ Sauce’ and topped with fries. The ‘Getta Pulled Pork’ keeps it simple with mouth-watering pulled pork, slaw, and signature BBQ sauce.

Bread & Meat Co

Fortitude Valley

For pulled pork with a difference, sink your fangs into the Caribbean Jerk Pulled Pork gourmet sandwich at Bread & Meat Co. Incredibly tasty roasted Caribbean pork with jerk sauce, topped with chipotle slaw on a brioche roll. If loving Caribbean Jerk Pulled Pork is wrong, I don’t wanna be right.

Peel Street Kitchen

South Brisbane

Ease into things at Peel Street Kitchen with the pork belly starter with coconut dressing and marinated fish and herb salad on Sisig. Then, take things up a porky notch with a La Fiesta gourmet pizza, tender pulled pork marinated in ‘Peel St’ spices with bacon, onions, capsicum and Tabasco-spiked sour cream sauce. Pizza bases also come gluten free!

Moose & Gibson

The new autumn menu from Woolloongabba’s Moose & Gibson includes a divine pulled pork salad. For those who love their pork, but want to consume it in a lighter way, this is the option for you. Think juicy pulled pork with red quinoa, watercress, toasted corn, Spanish onion and fresh Roma tomatoes with a honey mustard dressing.

Kettle & Tin

If you find yourself rolling through Given Terrace when the pork pangs kick in, head directly to Kettle & Tin for a fix. Their simple and delicious lunch menu includes a dream cider pulled pork sandwich stuffed with apple slaw and a pickle head pickle. Sweet porky goodness!
