First established in 1981, JD Sports has been hard at it kitting out Britain with slick duds for going on 37 years, earning them a reputation as the undisputed king of sneakers. Having established themselves as the UK's ultimate sporting and swag connection, they went global and brought their sweet threads to Victoria, but now they're gearing up to launch in Brisbane, taking over the space previously occupied by Topshop. My throat is sore from literally screaming.
Being one of the few surviving stores that lived through the 90s, JD Sports is primed to ride the curve of the current athleisure revival, stocking only the foxiest active brands like Ellesse, Adidas, Fila, Reebok, Nike, Puma, New Era, Juicy and Vans to name just nine. The whole gang's here! It’s like a festival line-up of stylish comfort with no shipping costs.
JD Sports Brisbane is projected to start trading on 20 September, spruiking their expansive range of footwear, apparel, and accessories across 1350 sqm, making it the largest retail location in the country. Damn are we lucky.
