Yes, Queensland, it's been a while between dances—but as of noon on Monday 14 December, you'll be able to hit the floor again. Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, trying very hard to get on everyone's good side it seems, has said COVID restrictions at venues will ease from Monday, allowing pubs, clubs and nightclubs to re-open their dancefloors to punters.
Forgotten how to bust a move? Don't stress—there's really no right or wrong when it comes to flying your freak flag on the DF, and honestly, a good dance is pretty much precisely what we all need to wrap up this whirlwind of a year. So pull out those dusty dancing shoes, channel Cardi B, and head to your favourite nightlife spot for the time of your life.
A quick note guys. Dancing space will be based on a venue's size with that one person per two square metres rule still in play, so please be kind to venues and their awesome staff if you're asked to stay dancing in your seat.
There’s also been some announcements in the travel sphere—scope out everything you need to know here.
