The latest addition to Brisbane’s pop-up restaurant scene is the beer-friendly Sunbury St Pop Up Kitchen, set to spring into life this Saturday.
Launching this weekend at Eaton Hill Hotel’s Beer Fest, Sunbury St Pop Up Kitchen is the brainchild of Ali Orchard and Amy Phillips. Ali is the mastermind behind some of Brisbane’s best beer-tastic menus including Tomahawk Bar, Tippler’s Tap and 4 Hearts Brewing Co., so punters can rest assured the menu will be the best of cutting-edge gastro-pub fare.
Sitting pretty alongside the 37 craft beer stalls, Sunbury St Pop Up Kitchen will be dishing up smoky stout brisket burgers, crispy pork belly buns, and cider-braised Reuben sandwiches, made in collaboration with local breweries.
Sunbury St have plans to launch a cooking school later in the month, so get ready to hear a lot more about this pop-up duo.
Brisbane Beer Fest kicks off from 11am, this Saturday 18th April.
