Those who know and love desserts and buttery pastries will already be a fan of The Pastry Emporium. Passionate pastry chef Adrian Grazioli established his business in 2013, soon after opening his first patisserie in 2014.
Basically, he’s a gun at creating intricate treats to make any sweet tooth weep. So, you’ll be pleased to learn that Mermaid Waters has just gained its very own satellite edition of The Pastry Emporium. Goods are handmade daily in the Bundall bakery and whisked to Mermaid Waters, making these picture-perfect cakes, slices and tarts even more accessible to the masses.
At The Pastry Emporium’s new patisserie, in the bustling Markeri Food complex (also home to Nude Sisters and Lucky Bao), you’ll find an array of delicate cakes and desserts from pimped up brownies to flourless orange and almond cake, shortcrust lemon meringue tarte to milk and strawberry macaroon domes. Yep, you’ll wanna Instagram the heck out of everything. Dine in the cute cafe-style space or take your goodies away to devour free from judging passers by.
The Pastry Emporium also delivers all-time favourites like flaky croissants (take your pick of plain, almond or Pandan bi-colour versions with green stripes and gooey centres), plus caramel cronuts, cookies and their bestseller, custard-filled doughnuts. Ponder breaking your diet over macarons, savoury pies, artisan sourdough and rye loafs baked fresh daily, as well as made-to-order cakes (jump online to order for that next special occasion) and Merlo Coffee to pair with your guilty pleasure of choice.
The Pastry Emporium is now open every Monday through Saturday 7am to 4pm and Sundays 7am to 2pm. After all, life's short so you should always eat dessert first.
