We always like to keep up to date on the latest in dog news, and this is some dog news you really need to know about.
Owners of pugs, Papillion, bichon frise, Chihuahuas, and all other breeds of small dog rejoice because this weekend at Welcome To Thornbury they’re holding A Tiny Dog Festival, which aims to celebrate all of the tiny dogs in Melbourne and their best qualities.
There will be 3 events held on the day, at 2pm they will crown Melbourne’s tiniest adult dog, at 3:30pm they’ll determine Melbourne’s best-dressed tiny dog, and at 5pm—the main event—will be the first annual tiny dog race.
As you’ve come to expect from Welcome To Thornbury there will food trucks a-plenty, with the likes of Connie’s Pizza, Mr Burger, Nem N’ Nem, and Dip’d Gourmet Mini Donuts for the humans, and Hunter & Hound, Found & Hound, and Frog Dog Studios there for the pooches.
And hey, just because this is a festival celebrating tiny dogs, that doesn’t mean you can’t bring your enormous dog as well. Dogs of all sizes are more than welcome.
