On 23 March, Australian podcast juggernaut Casefile officially confirmed the next sling of true-crime episodes on the horizon. So perk your true-crime-loving ears up because it’s going to be a bone-chilling ride.
The new season tells the story of infamous backpacker murderer Ivan Milat. Milat was convicted of killing seven young people between the ages of 19 to 22, which were found partially buried in Belanglo State Forest (pictured above), about an hour-and-a-half drive south-west of Sydney—he is currently serving several back-to-back sentences.
Besides confirming the new season, Casefile also announced a slight change to the usual schedule, given that this is a five-part series.
Starting with part one of Case 109, the rest of the series will be released weekly, without a break in the middle. The next week off will be on Saturday 27 April, followed by Case 110 on Saturday 4 May, then another break on Saturday 11 May.
After that, Casefile will be back to usual releases: three episodes, followed by one week off. You can get more details here.
