The Westin Melbourne's ever-popular High Cheese has returned in the form of an at-home experience. The Westin team will once again team up with Maker & Monger's Anthony Femia to create an epic cheese-focussed high tea.
“I’m so happy to be bringing this much-loved concept back again for its third iteration. In these unusual times we’re also thrilled to be able to offer people the chance to try High Cheese at home with our new hamper option”, says Executive Chef of The Westin, Michael Greenlaw.
The new delivery option is perfect for Victorian's in stage 4 lockdown. The High Cheese at home hamper is enough for two people and includes both sweet, and savoury treats, and comes with 1.5 litres of Scarlet & Clove mulled wine.
Savoury temptations on the menu this year include baked Le Conquerant Camembert studded with thyme, garlic and served with crusty sourdough; Roquefort and cognac dip with poached muscatels and spiced house-made crackers; L’Artisan Grand Fleuri layered brie with Victorian black truffle and crème fraiche, just to name a few.
On the sweet side, you'll be dining on a classic Basque cheesecake, beurre noisette madeleines, and Yarra Valley Dairy curd Fontainebleau with Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz gin and preserved cherries.
High Cheese is available for delivery within 35km of the CBD via Providoor for $189. Order yours here.
