Events around Melbourne are looking a lot different at the moment, but at least they're still going ahead.

Thankfully the annual Hot Chocolate Festival put on by the Great Ocean Road, Yarra Valley, and Mornington Peninsula Chocolateries is still happening, and it's going to be a big at-home affair.

The month-long event throughout August will see you able to get 31 different flavours of hot chocolate delivered straight to your door with everything you need to take them to the next level.

Order the Hot Chocolate Festival Challenge ($160) and expect 31 boxes of ingredients to put together ultimate hot choc. Flavours include Golden Gaytime, Tim Tam Slam, Magic Mushroom, Cherry Match, Tiramisu and many more.

To take the hot chocolates to the next level you can expect to see marshmallows, dunking biscuits, truffle balls, pipettes, and more arrive with your delivery.

Other options you can order include:

  • 16 Hot Chocolate Festival Box | $85
  • Junior Favourites Hot Chocolate Box | $45
  • DIY Hot Chocolate Spoons | $36

“Our annual Hot Chocolate Festival usually sees over 10,000 hot chocolates being made to order for visitors making a special winter trip to our Chocolateries to share in the line-up of creative drinks,” says owner Leanne Neeland.

“We just had to find a way to transform our popular winter celebration online and deliver some hot chocolate indulgence to those in lockdown—and our talented Chocolatiers have done it,”

All Hot Chocolate Festival boxes are available for delivery, and local pick-up.
