If you didn’t get the chance to soak up a warm Italian summer this past July while enjoying pasta in front of the Trevi Fountain (that’s what tourists do in Italy, right?), fear not: Preston Market is bringing back their Italian day in 2019, to showcase the best food, culture and live entertainment this cultured Southern European nation has to offer.
A range of freshly cooked pasta dishes will be on offer, as well as arancini, authentic Tuscan sandwiches and Sicilian BBQ. You can also finish off the day with desserts from That’s Amore Gelato and St. Gerry’s.
There will be a bunch of free activities to get involved in as well, like the all-ages puppet show. If puppets freak you out (which is completely understandable), feel free to kick back and enjoy the live music, or hit up one of the resident stall operators for your meat and fresh produce needs.
