If you travel to Sydney often, you're no doubt missing the amazing restaurants that are on offer up there.

Thankfully, you'll now be able to get meals to eat at home right here in Melbourne from Sydney restaurants such as Mr. Wong, Fred's and Totti's as Merivale—the group behind the restaurant—launches its new at-home business into Melbourne this August.

Merivale At Home launched in Sydney in April when the pandemic first started to take hold.

“Merivale At Home had been in the works for a while before COVID hit, but we fast-tracked
the operations so we could deliver it at a time when our Sydney guests needed it most” said Justin Hemmes, Merivale CEO.

The business has helped keep hospitality staff employed during the different stages of lockdown, and is expected to expand across the country—into Melbourne initially—and have new additions to Sydney options soon.

“We have always had amazing guests from Victoria at our venues, so our expansion into Melbourne was a natural progression. Our southern friends are doing it really tough right now - we hope that we can help with the comfort and joy of great meals from our best chefs. Dining is so often at the heart of social connection and community; it has been amazing to hear so many stories of special moments around the dinner table during this time."

Initial menus for Merivale At Home in Melbourne include Mr. Wong, Fred's, Bert's Bar & Brasserie, Felix, Jimmy's Falafel, and Totti's, as well as a special truffle feast available from Hotel Centennial.

The meal boxes come with everything ready to go. All you need to do is finish off the items before eating.
