Melbourne’s Getting An Artisan Cheese Festival

31st Aug 2017

We all have a soft/medium/hard spot for cheese, and this September you won’t brie-lieve your eyes as the first ever Mould A Cheese Festival comes to the cheese-loving city of Melbourne.

‘Mould’ is the brainchild of Bottle Shop Concepts and renowned cheesemaker and author of ‘Milk Made’ Nick Haddow of Bruny Island Cheese Co, and will feature cheese producers from around the country including Yarra Valley Dairy, Woodside Cheese Wrights, Pyengana Dairy Company and Holy Goat Cheese.

The gouda times will be held at Meat Market where you’ll find tastings, cooking demonstrations and masterclasses.

Alongside the plethora of cheese to be tasted will be the likes of Maker & Monger who will be serving up grilled cheese sandwiches and ‘flaming Reubens’. Tivoli Road Bakery will also be on hand dishing up breads and other baked goods alongside Pidapipo who will dish up some cheese-flavoured gelato.

To whet your whistle there will be a well-stocked bar full of Patrick Sullivan and Pennyweight wines, Starward whiskey, Stone & Wood beer and Napoleone cider.
