A couple of weeks ago we got the good news that the Night Noodle Markets will once again be gracing the turf of Birrarung Marr.
Taking place from November 8 – 25, the Night Noodle Markets is always the perfect spot to take in a Melbourne sunset for a bit of a feed and a few cold ones after a tough day in the office.
And, as usual, some of Melbourne’s—and others from around the country—restaurants will be setting up shop.
If you’ve been before you’ll know that Windsor restaurant Mr Miyagi always serve up something new and exciting when the event comes around—and this year is no different.
Introducing the Japa-dawg.
The team has taken your traditional bao bun, turned it into a long roll and filled if with all sorts of delicious things.
Here are the flavour combinations you can expect:
- Truffle Wagyu Beef Japa-dawg | Panko crumbed Wagyu beef-cheek 5+ score, Burgundy onion jam, black truffle potato puree, truffled Japanese mayo in a soft bao roll.
- Peking Duck Japa-dawg | Twice cooked Peking duck katsu, pickled cucumber and ginger, hoisin plum sauce, Japanese mayo in a soft bao roll.
- Parmesan & Pesto Japa-dawg | Parmesan and thyme croquette, iceberg, shaved parmesan, whipped basil pesto mayo in a soft bao roll.
If you’re after a side Mr Miyagi will also be serving up Mr M’s Wasabi Fries, golden fries with ramen seasoning, wasabi mayo, and wasabi sesame furikake.
Mr Miyagi will be setting up shop for the entirety of the Night Noodle Markets run. It’s on from November 8 until November 25.
