All hail Nutella, the king of the choc-nut culinary world! If you’re a super-fan of this gloriously chocolatey stuff, get ready for a drool-fest next weekend as a Nutella-centric pop-up hits The Alehouse Project, Brunswick East, on Saturday 12th September. Think of it as a day festival celebrating the wonderful stuff, and you’re probably only half way there…
The one-day-only event sees Nutella snack boxes (yes, a bento box of gooey goodness) being served at the north-side venue, thanks to the City Lane team. For a mere $10, you’ll get a delicious Nutella and peanut butter s’more (if you don’t know what s‘more is, it’s time to get educated), a Nutella and maple syrup tartlet, complete with smoked hickory meringue, and a Nutella and salted caramel truffle.
To wash it all down, you’ll be able to get your hands on a delicious V60 pour-over Padre Coffee cup of chow for only $3 a pop, as well as a boozy beverage from The Alehouse Project, which opens at midday. But you’d better be quick— with the Nutella celebrations starting at 9am and only 500 boxes available, we’ll bet that there’ll be no treats left by the time the bar opens. But hey, it’s worth sticking around for a beer in the sun. See you there, bright and early, Listers!
From 9am, Saturday 12th September | The Alehouse Project, East Brunswick
