You’ve gotta hand it to the Queen Vic: the downtime between Winter Night Market and Summer Night Market is pretty damn small. It’s almost a year-round Humpday event these days.

This year the Summer Market is back for it’s biggest year yet, an epic 21-week run that kicks off on the 15 November. It’s all part of the Queen Vic Night Market’s 20th-anniversary celebrations. The organisers are promising “a dazzling program of summer food, drinks, artisan shopping and live entertainment.” Prep yourself for dazzlement.

This year’s festival is going to include 60+ street food stalls, over 130 artisan fashion and homewares traders, plus a rotating line-up of live music and entertainment.

All your faves will be back (think giant pasta cheese wheel and the world’s most OTT paella pan), but there’s also a bunch of new faces. Gangnam Pocha are bringing the spicy Korean fried chicken, Mitchelton Spritz will be running a dedicated summer spritz bar, and Poke Doke are rolling out the sushi doughnuts.

The market will be running all the way till 11 April 2018, stretching the definition of ‘Summer’ to its globally warmed limit.
