The Reclink Community Cup Is Back On This Weekend

Yes, it’s that time of the year again. We’re deep into winter, the puffer jackets are out, the mulled wine is being consumed, and the Reclink Community Cup is back once again to pit the Silver Jubilee Rockdogs against the Megahertz.

Victoria Park in Collingwood will play host to this ultimate grudge match, with the Rockdogs comprised of musicians, and Megahertz featuring team members from Triple R, and PBS FM.

Along with the main event of the match, there will be live music from Rudely Interrupted, The Aints!, Cable Ties, Hiatus Kaiyote, The Cartridge Family, and Kutcha Edwards.

Young Henrys are back on as a sponsor this year, so when you’re feeling parched you won’t have to look too far for a cool, refreshing ale.

And, of course, it’s all for a good cause. Reclink Australia puts together specialist sport, recreation and arts programs for at-risk youth, people with mental illness or disability, people experiencing homelessness and domestic violence, and those facing alcohol, gambling, and substance addictions. They’ve been doing all of this great work since way back in 1993, and the Reclink Community Cup raises more than $200,000 for the cause every year.

Bring your friends, your family, and even your dog (yes, doggos are welcome), and catch all the action in the flesh.

Tickets are available via Oztix here.
