So Frenchy So Chic is back to take over Werribee Park Mansion yet again in January 2016.
Celebrating all things French and promoting general joie de vivre, the festival returns for its fifth year in Melbourne, featuring the very best music, food and wine that France has to offer.
This year’s stellar line-up will showcase a range of talented French musicians, including Moroccan-born Hindi Zahra, wildly popular duo Brigitte, chanteuse Lou Doillon and Balkan-electro collective Soviet Suprem.
So what’s on the menu? Get ready to munch on baguettes and fromage picnic hampers packed by Bright Young Things and Simmone Logue, as well as seafood, crêpes, macarons and ice-cream. Délicieux!
Don’t worry, we’re getting to the champagne. Chilled Laurent Perrier will be flowing, as will French beer, rosé from Provence and the best reds and whites from Bordeaux. A vintage caravan will also be mixing up special cocktails to add to the sophisticated summertime vibe.
Bring your A-game for pétanque battles and croquet clashes, and if you’ll have small humans in tow, they can look forward to puppet shows and face-painting.
So Frenchy So Chic is basically one massive picnic with added dancing and extra love, so what are you waiting for?
