MindBodySpirit Festival

MindBodySpirit Festival is Australia’s largest health, wellbeing and spirituality event and it’s popping up at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for their final event of the year. 2019 marks their 30th anniversary and it’s your opportunity to see, try and buy unique products and experiences including body treatments, crystals, books, music and more. As well as merchants, there’ll also be a program jam-packed with free seminars, meditation, stage performances and interactive wellness workshops.

Abbotsford Wellness Market

For one day only the historic grounds that are the Abbotsford Convent will be transformed into an energised space brimming with makers, creators and wellbeing experts. There’s set to be over 80 wellness-inspired stalls including fresh food, coffee, juices, health products, books, indoor plants and more. You’re going to want to set aside your whole day for this one.

Sunrise Yoga At MPavilion

Every summer since 2014, MPavilion, a unique annual architecture commission and design building has been constructed, popping up in Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Gardens. Among the many events scheduled for MPavilion over the summer, sunrise yoga is one you definitely won’t regret ticking off. You can expect a one-hour, gentle morning yoga flow open to all abilities and skill levels, with a focus on mindfulness and movement. Also includes fresh coffee and treats post-class.

Coburg Wellness Market

This month is a big one for Coburg Wellness Market with it marking their third and final instalment for the year. You can expect the crew behind the market to be sending out 2019 in style, with a line-up of over 100 curated stalls slinging a huge range of feel-good products including essential oils, eco fashion, cruelty-free skincare and more. Of course, there’ll also be food trucks serving up eats, paired with a juicy line-up of musical entertainment for the day, featuring Triple J Unearthed supported Maja Music as well as their resident DJ pumping tunes throughout the day.

Summer Solstice By St Kilda Pier

The summer solstice happens twice in the year and only once in each hemisphere. So if you weren’t already aware, it’s a super significant event on multiple levels. This is your opportunity to take in the moment right on the shores of St Kilda, with the evening led by an expert in mental health and wellness. You can expect the session to focus on deep breath work, palo santo, theta and delta waves with Tibetan singing bowls and more. Gardening Meditation

New Year's Handstand Course

What better way to ring in the new year than picking up a new skill that also has a stack of health benefits? Yep, the infamous handstand. We’ve all tried our hand at it at some point but there’s nothing like learning from the best. The six-day intensive course will teach correct technique, how to develop flexibility and strength and the skills you need to practice on your own.
