The MSO Just Announced Its New Star Wars Concert Series

By James Shackell
4th Sep 2017

If you felt a disturbance in the Force this morning, that’s because Melbourne’s MSO just dropped the news they’ll be performing an exclusive series of Star Wars concerts in December, kicking off with the (surprisingly awesome) Force Awakens.

Tickets go on sale at 11am this Wednesday, and you know they’re gonna move faster than a TIE Fighter with a recently serviced propulsion system.

There will be three screenings of The Force Awakens at The Palais, accompanied by the full MSO orchestra, blasting out John Williams’ classic score and led by conductor Nicholas Buc (he’s got to conduct with a tiny light saber, right? I mean, surely).

Trust us, these ARE the tickets you’re looking for. Be about your business.

The Details

Where: The Palais Theatre, St Kilda
When: 8, 9, 10 December 2017 (tickets on sale as of Wednesday, 11am)
