The word ‘takeaway’ doesn’t tend to conjure up images of fresh fruits and veggies, but rather those of burgers, pizza and chips, and all the other things we know we probably shouldn’t be eating but do anyway because they’re delicious. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. Everything in moderation, so they say.
But what to do when you simply can’t be bothered cooking, or forgot your healthy lunch, or just plain want something to eat that doesn’t require preparing a thing? Can’t someone else do it? The good news is, that yes, they can. In fact, there are plenty of fresh and healthy takeaway options around if you know where to look, and we’ve rounded up some of the best places in Perth to grab a healthy bite on the go.
Open Tuesday to Saturday between 10am and 3pm, Three Sisters is the perfect place to grab a quick and healthy lunch. This tiny Vietnamese gem serves up freshly made and healthy eats including rice paper rolls, crispy Vietnamese coleslaw with shredded chicken, traditional pho and banh mi; each dish delivering a guilt-free flavour bomb with every bite.
Nourish And Feed
It doesn’t get much more convenient than a drive-thru, but sourcing a healthy option from the comfort of your car isn’t something that’s readily available. Enter Nourish and Feed. They’re changing the game when it comes to food on the go, with a great range of healthy options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Slurp Soup & Salad Bar
Don’t you just hate it when you go to the trouble of making your lunch for work, only to race out the door in the morning without it? Thankfully, finding a healthy lunch option in the city isn’t all that hard, and Slurp Soup & Salad Bar is one of our faves. They’re serving up a huge selection of, funnily enough, freshly made soups and salads every weekday.
Online + Various Stockists
When it comes to vibrant tasty dishes, it’s hard to go past a CM Poké bowl. Brimming with healthy ingredients like edamame, tofu, salmon, brown rice and topped off with a tangy dressing, it’s got all the nutrients you need to get you through a busy day. Order through Uber Eats or Deliveroo for a lazy night on the couch, or grab and go from one of their local stockists.
Loved by vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike, Veggie Mama is well-known for their healthy and nutritious meals, and the best part is that you can have them delivered right to your door. We’re big fans of the brown rice bowls, but if you’re after something hearty and warming, go for the coconut curry with roast veggies and tofu.
Doubleview & Attadale
Whether you’re after a healthy lunch or dinner, Peko Peko and their delicious range of fresh sushi, rice paper rolls, noodles and salads have definitely got your back. There’s plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, loads of tasty sauces to jazz things up, and ready-made meal packs for those of us in a rush.
The Little Concept
They might be known for their speciality coffee, but The Little Concept in Freo also do a mean takeaway. Their healthy dishes are homemade with lots of love and care and include things like wraps, sandwiches, salads, soups, chia pots, pastries and more. Be sure to get in early, as they tend to sell out quickly.

Something about being near the ocean always makes us crave healthy foods, so after a dip why not drop into Nature’s Harvest and grab something to go. This cafe is all about creating nutrient-dense savoury and sweet dishes and has a hot food menu that changes daily, along with quinoa and rice salads, raw sweet treats, create-your-own smoothies, and much much more.
