If craft brews don't get you all hopped up and excited, then you should probably leave now, but if they do, I'm guessing you'll be very excited to hear about Island Brewhouse which has just opened at Elizabeth Quay.

Wondering where on earth have they managed to fit a brewery down at Elizabeth Quay? Well, Isle of Voyage has undergone a bit of a makeover and is now known as The Island, which is made up of the Brewhouse, the Kiosk, the Garden and Florence's Pizzeria—because we all know that there is no better combo than pizza and beer.

Apart from all the eateries, there's also an outdoor stage which is going to be home to plenty of live performances over the coming summer, a playground for the young'uns and a ping pong table and games area for the young at heart—sounds like the perfect spot for long, booze-fuelled summer afternoons, no?

The space is still owned by the guys behind Voyage Kitchen, so you know the food is going to be legit—think beer snacks, burgers, pizzas, salads and slow cooked meats—and let's not forget the magical views.

But the best part is that, starting tomorrow, they'll be doing Friday happy hour from 5:30—6:30pm with beer, wine and cocktail specials plus FREE bar snacks. That's Friday night drinks sorted!

And in case you missed them, here are all the other recent new openings in Perth.
