Stop! In the name of pasta. We’ve got some brilliant beyond brilliant news about our all time favourite food (big call, we know) and you absolutely need to hear it. Pasta by the metre is a thing. Yep, you read that right. Pasta by the metre actually exists in Perth and you can find it in Mount Lawley!

Meet Solo Pasta AKA the game-changing Italian restaurant that deserves a spot at the very top of everyone's foodie bucket list (even if you’re not a foodie). Serving pasta by metre (in three different flavours—spinach, beetroot or classic), believe us when we say you’ll never want to eat anywhere else ever again.

Here’s how it works: you choose your pasta flavour then you order as many metres of pasta as you could possibly want. The team at Solo Pasta reckon a standard bowl is about 3 metres, but if you’re anything like us, the limit does not exist.

Once you’ve excelled at self control and got your serving size juuust right, you’ll choose a tomato, cream or olive oil based sauce, all of which have been inspired by the most loved dishes around the world (think Asian curry chicken and Moroccan lamb tagine #drooool).

The best part? It’s some of the tastiest pasta we’ve tried in a long time, cooked perfectly al dente.

If 1km of spinach pasta with slow cooked shredded beef doesn’t solve all your problems, we don’t know what will.

You can find Solo Pasta at 628 Beuafort Street, Mount Lawley.
