Be moved by the best in West Australian dance this weekend at MoveMe Festival, which showcases new contemporary dance work from the state’s leading independent dance companies, choreographers, dancers and more. There’s all kinds of performances—from captivating and thoughtful to unapologetically funny and high-energy. Get yourself to something—maybe Cockfight, a dance performance that’s said to be like a cross between The Office and a cage fight, all while exploring intergenerational male power play. Get a glimpse into the wealth of incredible Aboriginal design that has shaped Western Australia’s history at Bibbullmun Bardi, a showcase of the work of historic and contemporary Aboriginal designers and artists.
