Our love for Greek cuisine on the Coast seems to be insatiable. And our lust for authentic street food is equally matched, so when someone told us the duo were combining and opening up shop in Maroochydore we were more than thrilled, we were nek-level ecstatic.
Let us introduce you to ENA Greek Street Food.
Maybe you recognise the name? If you’ve been to Melbourne recently it’s highly likely you will, and that’s because ENA Greek Street Food is currently slaying it in our fave southern windy city. And the team behind this exciting new opening are bringing their A game to our coastal shores.
What sort of Greek noms can we expect, you might ask? Well, let’s just say bring on the meat sweats baby, cause these guys are HUGE fans of the slow cooked rotisserie over a coal fire pit.
Traditional Greek faves will also be on the menu such as moussaka croquettes, grilled octopus, spanakopita, stuffed cabbage rolls and gyros. And yes, before you ask, the melted goodness that is halloumi will most certainly be on the menu too. Woot!
We’ve also been assured that perennial faves such as galaktoboureko, baklava and kataifi will also be available for dessert, so make sure you leave a little bit of room, kids.
Now we’re not exactly sure of the precise opening date for ENA Greet Street Food, but we’ve been assured it will be sometime in July. But don’t worry, once we know it’s open, you’ll be the FIRST to find out!
In the meantime, we’ll just be sitting back here casually dreaming of all the moussaka we’re gonna murder.
