A Strawberry Themed Festival Is Happening Near The Coast And It’s Too Pretty For Words

The Sunshine Coast is abound with festivals this time of year, and with the start of the strawberry season why not hold a festival to match?

The iconic Sandstone Point Hotel on Bribie Island will be holding their annual Strawberry Festival this month to celebrate one of our biggest farming industries here in Queensland—the humble strawb. Sure, it's a little bit of a drive, but this little slice between the Coast and Brisneyland will be buzzing.

Picture a full day of strawberry snacking: sipping away on a strawberry milkshake with a punnet of strawberries in one hand and strawberry ice cream in the other while you watch strawberry eating competitions. If you’re allergic, maybe stay away…?

There will also be scones with jam stands, live music and entertainment, fireworks (probably pink?), rides and a special appearance from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the littlies! With only $5 entry this one is definitely worth the drive, we just wouldn’t wear white if we were you!
