Arguably the Coast’s healthiest café, CK Coffee Bar and Wholefoods brings health nuts and sweet tooths together, because it’s just so damn tasty. On your quest to devour the entire menu—‘cause trust us, it’s necessary—you should skip to the raw salted caramel pecan tart. Stat. Because, it’s almost the same as a caramel slice.

Okay, okay, we talk about Tome a lot here, but we do so because they’re so out-of-this-world crazy delicious! Not only do they make a mean vegan caramel slice, their very un-vegan caramel cheesecake brownies are nothing short of spectacular.

This cutie-patootie café just back from Mooloolaba’s main drag makes a divine salted caramel slice in-house. Coated with dark chocolate, pair a piece (or four) with a nice, strong Yoyo coffee, and you’ve got a winning combination on your hands.

MISTER DARCY
New kids on the block Mister Darcy are making waves in Noosa, quickly gaining acclaim for their smooth coffee and addictive treats. Their caramel slice, lavishly topped with chocolate, is the perfect accompaniment to any coffee date, or even a sneaky takeaway after lunch.

COFFEE CAT
For an afternoon tea with a view, you can’t get much better than Coffee Cat, whose perfect posi right on beautiful Kings Beach takes the cake. Well known for their extravagant baked-goods cabinet, we know it’s not technically a “slice” but the caramel pecan tart is too legit to leave out. Many a visitor to this Caloundra fave regret not choosing this, so when in doubt, don’t go without.
